The park has an onsite fishing lake as well as access to scenic footpaths and bridleways with an abundance of nature.

Pet-friendly accomodation

Our park is pet friendly, we have a large lake and recreation area for your four legged friend. There are several ways that you can walk easily into Llanidloes from the park. Within reach there are over thirty separate routes around the town which are clearly way-marked. The Glyndwr’s Way and Severn Way National Trail surrounds Llanidloes with a number of sections to choose from. Along the trail are some of the finest landscape features including the Radnorshire Hills, the shore of the Clywedog Reservoir and heather clad Plynlimon Fawr.

Hot Tub

Hot tubs are optional, choose a Dovecote Lodge to have a specific covered area for a sunken hot tub at the back of the lodge nestled in the trees. The well designed lodge allows to you to access the hot tub from both en-suite bathroom doors. Various decking options are available to choose from to include a hot tub sunk into your decking area for other lodge models to enjoy your time away from home. Buyers can choose to have a larger wrap around decking for those that appreciate the sun in the morning and in the evenings.

Log Burner

Nothing beats coming home out of the cold to the crackle of a wood burning stove. Perfect with a big comfortable sofa and a glass of hot chocolate – or even wine. Fitting a log burner into your lodge makes it feel warm cosy, for those winter months to wrap yourself up and relax. Within the decking design we can ensure you can store your logs effectively and in an attractive way, keeping things organised with the the log store integrated into your decking. A range of log burners or a feature electric fire are available.

Designed for the ultimate social space where the cook and guests can interact, with open-plan kitchen layouts allowing great flow between living areas and bringing in the light coming from the dining and living areas

All kitchens are well equipped with the latest mod cons, examples are a built in wine chiller, double oven, grill and microwave. An integrated slide-out, tall shelved cabinet and dishwasher. Huge choices of cabinet arrangement are available with the options of an island unit providing a breakfast area, plus drawers and cabinets. All lodges come with a handy but discreet utility room and is the perfect space to keep other items hidden.

Enjoy entertaining around the open plan dining suite, where again a vast selection is on offer from country farmhouse, Scandinavian or retro modern style.

Pen Y Banc Woods is easily accessible by car, only a short drive from the A470 and the A44. We’re also accessible by public transport with good rail links from near by Shrewsbury Train Station. Additionally Pen Y Banc is only 40 mins drive or approximately 2 hours on public transport from Mid Wales Airport. Pen Y Banc Woods is located within 2 miles of the historic market town of Llanidloes, with panoramic views over the unspoilt countryside to the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, The Hafren Forest and the source of the River Severn are a few miles away in the Plynlimon hills from the park to enjoy a day outdoors with nature. Llanidloes is centrally located to explore further afield with Snowdonia to the north, beautiful beaches 30 miles to the west and the Brecon Beacons to the south. With a variety of adventures and attractions to explore within a stone’s throw, Llanidloes also offers a variety of independent shops, many pubs, restaurants, a weekly Saturday market and mountains of history.
